To solve problems with systems with 200gb hard drive
Instructions on how to change the UDMA option in System Setup / BIOS.
1. Before rebooting your system, save your data and close all applications.
2. While the system is booting, during the Dell Logo screen, press the 'F2' key to enter into the system
BIOS and setup screen.
3. Press the down arrow key and highlight "Integrated Devices (LegacySelect Options)".
4. Press the 'Enter' key to open a new window.
5. When the new window opens, arrow down and highlight the last option in the window -- "IDE Drive
UDMA".
6. Press the '+' key on the numeric keypad to change the value to 'Off'.
7. Press the 'Enter' key to close the window.
8. Press the 'Esc' key to exit the system BIOS and setup screen.
9. When the new window opens, select 'Save changes and Exit' which is the default.
10. Press the 'Enter' key and the system will reboot.
